Fifi Slingback Sandal

These are beautiful sandals. I was hopeful these would work. I purchased both size 38 (8) and 39 (9) and sadly it just didn’t work. I found the sandals to be short in length, with the 38 (8) fitting more like a size US 7. I didn’t even bother to walk in them because my toes where actually outside the edge of the sandal. Size 39 (9) fit a little better, but my toes where right at the edge. The back strap fit a little loose so I tightened the strap. Unfortunately, when I walked my foot was pushed forward and the toe just slightly going over the edge. The heel of the sandal felt stable and it was easy to walk in them. For reference I’m a solid size 8, with regular width, and usually wear Euro size 38 or 39 depending on the shoe as some Euro shoes tend to run narrow/short. As far as style and quality: these are be good looking shoes with a clean, modern minimal design, and my feet looked elegant wearing them. The sandals are leather all around, and the overall quality seems good, but not sure it warrants the full price. There are a few craftsmanship detail that could have been done better. If you have slightly narrow foot or slightly short toes, these will probably fit well. If you have wide feet, or if your feet tend to swell, these sandals won’t work for you. Sadly, I will be returning them because for me it’s just wasn’t a proper good fit.

I am a solid 8 most everywhere in US, and usually a 39EU but I had to go up to a 40EU in these, which is a size 10. They straps are adjustable , the leather is nice quality and perfectly chocolate, but be warned on the size issue.

The sandals are so pretty. Unfortunately my foot slid around in them bc they did not have enough support to hold my foot in place. The ankle strap also hit very low on my heel, which is strange bc I have a thin foot.

I usually wear a size 8, but based on the reviews I ordered a 9—it was huge, so I had to return it. This time, they didn’t have an 8, so I ordered a 7, and surprisingly, it fits perfectly! I wouldn’t rely too much on the reviews for sizing!
