I bought this bag for work trips as I’ve been traveling more and needed a larger, more durable option. But within two days of use, the inner lining ripped from the body of the bag. In four days, the lining was completely frayed and the corners of the bag were tearing apart. I reached out to both Nordstrom and Mods Luxe—both told me they could do nothing to help. Nordstrom’s policy was I could return if the item was in the exact condition it was bought, which defeats the purpose of my complaint. In fact, Nordstrom told me only Moda Luxe could help and referred me to their customer service. Moda Luxe referred me back to Nordstrom. TLDR: This is not worth $100–and as someone who doesn’t (can’t) spend this much on bags very often, it is frustrating. I am unable to buy a new bag because this maxed out my budget. I expected them to at least offer a replacement, repair or return.
