Side Zip Pleated Pants

These pants are of nice quality, with a heavier fabric than I expected. Just giving 4 stars because I need to get them tailored a bit (I seem to be in between sizes). I'm 5'2"/110lbs. Ordered a size 2. I love how they are a little loose through the hips and the length is great. The waist is just a tad too big so they fall lower than they should. I wish the waistband had a back seam for easier tailoring.

I am so shocked at how poor the quality is on these $230 pants that I’m taking the time to write a review. I would expect $230 quality material and I was completely shocked at receiving pants that literally looked like they were from SHEIN. I am not exaggerating. The material, thinness, everything. They are see through, and my underwear was showing clearly. Wearing a thong would mean the back of the pants would go into my butt and have to be constantly pulled out (that’s how thin they were). The photo is so deceiving as they look thick and high quality. They are also darker and more yellow tinged than the beautiful cream in the pic. I was expecting rich, thick, high quality trousers. I cannot believe this is what Favorite Daughter is putting out for $230. I’d pay $15 for these pants, if that. Horrible. The one positive was the fit and cut was exactly what I wanted. However, too cheaply made and see through to even consider keeping for the price tag. This makes me want to never purchase from the brand again for taking such advantage.

This is the only item I have purchased from this brand, but it will not be the last. I was unsure what size to buy, but read the reviews, one of which was very informative written by a petite woman who bought a size 2 and stated that the waist was big on her. I decided to buy on line the size 0. Perfect, except the length of the pant. No biggy, can be shortened by Nordstrom. I love how the pants fit, how they feel and how they look. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit was incredible, but the material was so see through I couldn't justify keeping since I would be wearing to my office job and you can see the entire pocket through the front and I don't like that look. I am a size 6, 5'6" so this inseam was perfect for me.
