Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara Duo $156 Value

This is, annoyingly, by far the best mascara I have ever used. I say annoyingly because I wish it were a little less expensive but it really is worth every penny. The formula is a touch on the drier side, which I prefer because I like to layer for a really voluminous effect. However, even with one coat this mascara really delivers length and volume. I can't speak to curl because my lashes already stick straight up, but I'm sure it does that as well. Also, I have used just about every high end mascara on the market from Noir G to Eyes to Kill to Benefit, and the two things that this mascara shines in is: 1) Longevity. I have been using this mascara for six months at three coats a day and it's still not out. And a follow up comment that is even more impressive is 2) Consistency. The formula did not change. Not a bit. It is the same formula now as it was six months ago. It's not clumpier, not dryer, nothing. That's unheard of. Lastly, I was tempted to deduct a star because there was literally no lash growing properties. None. I decided not to because that's a tall order for a mascara to deliver and this mascara is truly otherwise perfect. I do wish Chantecaille never promised that though, because they can't deliver.

I used to use mascara primer and smudge proof mascara. I like chantecaille skincare line so i gave this a try. I thought this one must be applied without any kind of primer since that will alter the absortion of the lash growing ingredient. It makes your lash very soft kind of natural looking. Not what I want from my mascara and I had to apply several coats to achieve the similar look of 1 coat of primer+ one coat of mascara. Definition of lashes also better with my regular p+ m. Besides it is easily smudged esp. around the under eyelashes. With the price this high, to work as a lash growth product, i think they should consider making it as a lash primer. That way I could still get the benefit of this product and can still use my favorite zero smudge mascara.

I was a bit hesitant to spend $72 for a mascara, but seeing the reviews from Tati on YouTube made me do it. She has been right on the money with the items she reviews, so I gave it a shot. This mascara applies so dark and intensely thickening, you only need one coat. I normally wear eyelash extensions and as I was picking on them, I plucked out and broke off so many of my own lashes. I gave my lashes a rest for about 3 weeks and used this mascara, it was a miracle! My eyelash lady couldn't believe how beautifully full they grew back and so quickly! I am now purchasing two more tubes, I'm going to continue using this product on the bottom lashes.

I’ve been purchasing this mascara for the past few years and would hate to go back to any other one! This is really a great mascara and lasts much longer than any other one I’ve used in the past. However, for an expensive mascara that it is, I would have expected a quality cap/brush/tube. First off, after handling the tube for a short period of time, the name smears off and disappears (no biggie). But almost every single one of these mascaras I had (and have), the outer cap loosens and breaks off of the inner cap, which still stays intact and closed. I have to reposition (or glue) it back on and try to twist the two caps together for the mascara to open. Always makes it difficult and time consuming. I already returned one due to this issue but feel embarrassed to try and return a used mascara again if I had to 🥺
