Slide N Sleek Wedge Slide Sandal

I was a huge fan of the Famolare brand in the '70s; they were pretty much the only brand I bought and wore with regularity. Their unique sole was the saving grace for my skinny, flat feet being able to survive a whole day of walking. Then they disappeared. So, I was thrilled to recently find them again and immediately ordered two different pairs (the other was a flip-flop). They are still a wonderful shoe. If you are not familiar with the sole you might have to take a few hours to get used to the stride, but it's worth the time. The descriptions for size so far have been accurate. For this model it said half-size should order down; for the other it said to order up. I did that with both and they both fit great. This slide is a "M" width, but I have narrow feet and it fits perfectly without any noticeable gaps and the toe cutout is fine for me. It was the same with the flip-flop. All in all I'm very pleased with my new purchases of Famolare and look forward to seeing more styles available as we cycle through the seasons.

Should have ordered regular size. Do NOT size up. Heavy shoe with rolling walk. I loved these in the 70’s but found this pair heavy in the heel, probably because they were too long. Clearly needed smaller size but quality is there. I am small boned and not very tall. Too clunky for me.

Long a fan of Famolares, it is wonderful that they came back. If you have never worn them, you are in for a treat. The rolling motion of walking has helped my hip pain and they look so darned cute too. Hoping they stick around for a few more years as they are well made and very cute.

Had to return. Not as cute as I was hoping they would be. The sole is quite heavy for a sandal and they feel clunky.
