Legend Button-Up Shirt

I bought a few of these shirts for my husband over the years and I chose the washed blue twill for him recently. The fit is very TTS (fitted across shoulders and a little more drape/room across the mid section for a slouchy look but also not sloppy.) The fabric is super, luxe soft like it was before but I washed it and it shed all over the place. It was a pilly mess before he even wore it. I shaved some off with a cashmere sweater comb and I hope it stops shedding/pilling. I don't remember this ever being an issue with an of the other Legend knits before so I'm hoping this is okay because if not, it's a really expensive mistake to have purchased it.

I own two of these Legend Shirts directly purchased from Faherty. The size was smaller/tighter than expected. The main issue was the fabric. It is not even close to as breathable and stretchy as what I know they are. I feel this was manufactured with a Faherty name but not a true Faherty shirt. Recommend buying directly from the company.

I normally wear a large in most brands, including Faherty. This one seems a bit big. The fabric while incredibly soft, is oddly stretchy. That mixed with the fit being a bit large has me wondering if a medium would suit me better. Then again this flannel is very thick and would be perfect for layers come winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just a great, comfortable shirt. Very soft and easy to wear. It's a very versatile shirt too, as I can wear it either closed on its own or open and paired with a coordinated undershirt, and it pairs well with a lot of different colored pants. Easy washing instructions too, which was kind of a surprise too as the material feels like a dry clean only type fabric, but washing and drying on delicate will get the job done.
