Extra-Large Airtight Pet Rolling Food Storage Container

This is definitely not airtight, and I don’t think I received a defective one. There are two smallish holes in the lid that allow air to enter so the lid can be opened without creating suction and also allow air to exit when the lid is closed. If you gently push on the container lid, you can clearly hear air escaping from these holes. I tried it anyway: After I placed my dog’s food and snacks inside, she kept circling the container and sniffing around the edge of the lid. She paid no attention to this container before food was placed inside. When I moved the food back to her old airtight container, she again paid this container no mind. Putting food back inside this container caused her to repeatedly circle the container and sniff around the opening. If you mainly care about keeping pet food fresh, the holes are small so this container will probably suffice. Otoh, if you also want to avoid attracting rodents, ants, and other pests, I’d pass on this one.
