Explore & Store Learning Tower® Toddler Step Stool

Love the small footprint and ability to store it under the counter of our island. Being able to fit under the counter also helps our toddler get right up to the edge of the counter. It is slightly wobbly compared to larger towers but not in a way that feels unsafe. Also love that the height is adjustable as your child grows. I did not like the non slip foot shaped stickers that came with the stool (they are black and may look cuter on other color stools). We bought the nonslip silicone mat which is okay but it can curl up when our son climbs in and out. He's gotten used to navigating the mat though. My biggest complaint is the folding step. You can secure it in the down position, but there's no great way to secure it folded. You could either turn the tower around so your kid can't access it or screw the knobs back in once you've raised the step. Neither make it quick to deploy, but it will stop your kid from potentially squishing their toes on the parts that touch the ground. Aesthetically pleasing options with a small footprint, but be aware of a few drawbacks.

We got this because of the narrow footprint compared to some of the larger towers out there. Our toddler struggled with getting out of it because it is narrow so we had to work on getting down on all fours and crawling out backwards. I also thought the step would be able to pivot up and down, but you have to unscrew it to do that which to me is kind of pointless. Also, when our toddler (less than 18mo) grabs on and dances or tries to shake it the tower definitely does wobble so we are worried it will fall backwards. I don't know I can confidently say we would buy this one again, but for the footprint we are happy with it and our little one loves it.
