Everyday Sheer Ankle Socks

I understand why the charge for these ankle socks were reduced from $12.00 to $3 a pair. The lack of quality is horific. I bought six pairs. The first 3 pairs I opened already had holes in them. I understand that the fabric is shear, but the holes and runs shouldn't be on the socks before removing the items from the package or before trying to wear the socks. I've noticed recently that the quality of Nordstrom brands has diminished, particularly Cason, Halogen, & Nordstrom brand. It's very disappointing. Also, Nordstrom refused to ship these items to me because of the price reduction, so I was forced to go to the store to pick them up. It's a waste of time to park in the pick up area and call the number on the sign, as there isn't an answer or somebody answers but nobody shows up.
