Everyday Leather Makeup Bag

I REALLY love this bag. It’s well constructed, stitching is phenomenal, and it’s so darn cute. With that said, I didn’t realize how small it actually is. It measures 5 inches at the base, 5 inches high and 8 inches at best across the middle and widest part. Not nearly large enough to be practical for me as I carry a lot more cosmetics in my purse. I wish the sizes were posted on Nordstroms website. I should have gone for the larger case (the weekender or even the traveler) and done a little more research in the brand/sizing. If you are a lipstick and just a couple small items thrown in a makeup bag kinda person, this would be ideal for you. The interior compartment that can be removed and washed is really convenient. I’m returning this and going for one of the larger sizes. I love the black hot pink combo. Very swank.

Let’s start off with why I didn’t give it five stars because it does deserve it. However, the material on the inside is not nearly as vibrant, hot pink as what came in, and I was a little disappointed when I opened it, but it really holds a lot and it’s a great bag that I’ll have forever. I’m actually on here shopping for more bags because I have a trip coming up and that’s just how much I love Kusshi! Great quality well thought out travel bags, but I keep the small leather one in my purse! Makes me feel bougie every time I pull it out

I’m so glad I got this.. I got the black leather and pink interior and it is beautiful. The attention to detail is lovely, and I love how you can take out the liner and wash it- that was a big plus for me, as my makeup bags always end up stained with something, so that’s a nice function to have. The size is great for keeping in my bag, it doesn’t hold a ton of items but it has enough room for a few quads, blush, highlighter, a few lipsticks and other things, so definitely enough for a daily makeup routine. It’s super chic and sleek, and there’s really cute stitching detail in pink on the bottom of the bag which I wasn’t aware of before but love. So pleased with my purchase, I’m definitely going to get the larger version next:)

I first bought the vacationer for travel and liked it so much I purchased this one for my everyday bag. That one review that says it's not leather probably got the wrong item, because the company makes this in nylon as well. I prefer the leather because it's soft and buttery and the washable interior makes it practical as well. This is a much better buy than a luxury brand vanity case that cannot be washed.

I got the black leather with leopard lining and it is SO CUTE!! The leather is great quality- is has that soft, flexible, "chewy" texture lol... I know that sounds weird but I'm not sure how else to describe it, it is pretty thick and feels extremely durable. Its a good size for me, I got this to carry in my day to day bag, and it can hold several lip products, a mirror, travel brushes, a travel face palette, period stuff, and more! If you want to add several bottles like foundations and large compacts then it might not fit it all, that being said for a regular day-to-day makeup bag it fits more than enough.
