Everett Linen Midi Sundress

Overall this dress is beautiful and has a lot of positives. I’m 5’10 and really appreciate the generous length. It’s slimming and flattering on my body type, and I find the fabric really comfortable and high quality feeling. However, the top definitely has its issues! The straps have a few adjustable settings, but even at the highest setting I did need to have the straps shortened. The bigger issue is the seams at the bust curve are way too high. I think the intended fit is for the fullest part of the bust to be pushed up way higher than I would want (which I suppose the straps would be short enough in that case) but that means the top of the dress sits lower on the chest than I’d feel comfortable with. You can see this issue best on the model who sometimes has her hands in the pockets- you can’t see the issue when she’s facing forward but look at the photos where she’s turned at 45 degrees and zoom in on the bust… you can see there’s a bulk of extra fabric at that seam on the top half of her chest. On the model with the dark brown background, it doesn’t seem to be much of an issue because the dress sits lower on her chest, but that would open up more arm pit than I’d want.
