Timberland
The mission of Timberland is to inspire and equip the world to step outside, work together and make it better. Founded in 1952 in Boston, the company is best known for its iconic "original yellow boot," which debuted in 1973. Those waterproof leather boots set new standards for craftsmanship, durability and protection—and still embody the spirit of all Timberland shoes made today.

Most comfortable hiking boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hiking shoe is great!! I tried it out walking a 3 mile trail and my feet didn't hurt at all! I didn't even get any blisters! The only thing is you have to wear high socks which is fine.

Would not buy again
Bought these for a trip to Morocco for light hiking. Description says they have arch support and they do not have any arch support at all unless you might be flat footed. The inside of the boot is flat.

Fancy enough for NEW YORK CITY!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided that freezing weather in New York City meant I had to be realistic about footwear. In one week, we went to five Broadway shows as well as events in the Bronx and Battery Park. I wore these hiking boots every day as we walked the icy streets going from event to event. There was not one moment I regretted the warm rain-proof boots. I even wore them with a fancy black skirt and didn't feel underdressed. I just felt comfortable.
