What it is: A hair oil that indulges curls and coils with a curated blend of 17 deeply nourishing and smoothing botanical oils, including castor seed, apricot and coconut.
What it does: Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, this protective elixir locks in moisture while softening and smoothing for polished shine. It intensely nourishes strands with a blend of natural oils. It helps replenish and soften wavy, curly and coily strands while smoothing away frizz and improving strength of strands and curl definition. Love oribe packages

It has a lightweight texture that doesn’t weight my hair down and adds a beautiful shine, also it makes my hair looks more defined and healthy. I love the packaging color, it is deep green and looks luxury. The scent for me feels like a little bit of citric. It helps smooth frizz and protect the hair.

Useless bottle top
The bottle did not have a top that was usable. I had to pour the oil directly from the bottle and wasted a lot of oil.

A thick oil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd say this is a heavy oil so someone with less fine hair will love it the most. I should probably be a little careful but I put a full pump on here and I think my curls look nice and hydrated. The packaging is nice but nothing particularly special. I have thinner hair oils that absorb a little better that I like more but when I want something thicker I think this is nice.

Leaves Hair Soft and Restores Shine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have curly/wavy hair that needs lots of moisture or it looks dry and lifeless. This leave in oil is perfect for revitalizing my curls and leaves my hair looking soft and shiny! I just scrunch it into my damp hair after showering. It is not heavy and a little seems to go a long way. I love the way my curls look so healthy and bouncy after applying!

Worked better for me with dry hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] READ THIS - the bottle has a PUMP!!! I also at first twisted it open and it had a weird stick which didn’t make sense. It took some effort but you can try to twist pull the cap off and underneath you see a pump. I do think having better instructions would help this bc I saw multiple people struggling in other reviews. I liked this product more than the deep conditioning masque. The packaging was fine and it has a nice soft scent to it. I used it after my shower while my hair was wet but I still had a good amount of frizz. I used a couple pumps of this while my hair was 100% dry the day after and surprisingly, it helped define my curls, reduce frizz, AND it wasn’t heavy on my hair! I have thick 2A-B ish hair so some curl products can weigh down and make my hair look greasy and old, this didn’t! I am glad because I did have high expectations from Oribe and I wasn’t let down.

Not my favorite oribe product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not really sure how I feel about this oil. I went as far as looking at other reviews to see if anyone else had similar experiences as I did. First of all, the top is a stick which made getting product difficult. I was dipping the stud in the bottle the rubbing it on my hand to get the product out. Maybe that’s not what is intended but there are no clear directions. Second, when I finally gathered enough product on my hands to apply, it had a grippy texture? Like not gliding onto my hair. After using it I wasn’t sure I actually used it all over because the texture was so odd/grippy? I really love the curl masque but have to give this product 3 stars because I’m not sure how much it really did for me. My hair did seem shinier afterwards but I feel that was due to the masque.

Makes Hair Soft & Moisturized
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best oils that I’ve used. After usage, my hair is softer, shines, and feels moisturized. Theres no film left on my hair nor any oily feeling. Days after using the product, my hair still looks hydrated. The scent is fruity and enjoyable. My only issue with the oil is the design. I wish that the oil had a dropper so that oil wouldn’t leak right out of the tube as soon as I lift the cap. I can say that the product is easy to clean off of counters and skin. I love that the product is vegan and is safe for my hair. I love it and will continue to use it! My hair is healthier and looks beautiful.
