Why did they discontinue the original Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia?
I’ve worn it for years and love it.
Afraid to purchase this one because it may not be the same.

Disappointed
It is unfortunate they discontinued the Private Collection. This does not compare. Wore the other for years. Bottle was prettier and fragrance lasted longer and is different than the original.

Bring the Private Collection Back
I’ve used the Private Collection for years and loved it and always received compliments. It would last all day. I was so sad to learn that the Private Collection was discontinued and the Aerin Tuberose Gardenia is the replacement. I purchased the Aerin Tuberose Gardenia and it’s a little more citrusy or lemony, less floral, and it seems diluted. The scent doesn’t last more than an hour. Please bring the Private Collection back.

Private Collection Substitute
This is a nice perfume; however I still liked the Private Collection that it is substituted for. The smell doesn’t last as long as I thought it would but is a close second to the Private Collection.

I just ordered this in the 3.4oz after doing my research. According to the company this is the same as the original Tuberose Gardenia that was released in 2007, just now housed in the new bottle to reflect the AERIN Collection. I will update once received as I have some in the original bottle to compare the scent, sillage and longevity. The original TG smells like real blooms, not a fabricated floral. It is lush and smells expensive and indulgent! I hope the EL has been loyal to the original and only the bottle is the update.

Good enough - at least it’s available
The new Aerin Tuberose Gardenia isn’t quite as good as the old Private Collection version, but it will have to do.

Barely any scent
While the spray does produce a nice mist, this is nothing like the beautiful scent of the original Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia. It is really disappointing.
