Pure Color Desire Crème Lipstick

Love this lipstick. I have tried all of the cheaper brands and always come back to Estee Lauder. I love how easy excess creme lipstick glides on and stays on relatively well too. It does not dry out my lips or settle in my lip-lines. The narrow design of the lipstick application tube makes it easy to apply without a mirror when needing to reapply after dinner or cocktails. This lipstick is quality and luxury and for me, well worth the cost.

Its a beautiful shade, looks so beautiful, i have a Pakistani/ indian ( brown) skin tone, it compliments my skin tone and even if i choose not to go with full look, only with kohl in my eyes and this lipstick gives me a diva look and feel, goes really smooth,stays long doesnt feel caky or it doesnt settle in lines, survives food, and dosent need touch up aagain and again, loved my purchase, looks really classy. Definitely going to buy again.

This is the most I’ve ever spent on a lipstick but I took a chance because I saw the color Deny 112, a chrome color. It was so pretty, an earthy mid-toned warm nude with tons of gold sparkle. Stunning. What I like - long wearing, beautiful sparkle that really lasts on the lips, a lip-plumping effect (maybe because of the sparkle?). The gold case is really sleek, understated and upscale-looking and adding a gloss does not seem to diminish the length of wear as much as other lipsticks. Things I’m neutral about - the scent has grown on me but it’s really unusual, kind of fruity, kind of floral but I can’t quite place it. The chrome colors feel a bit gritty while applying to lips from the bullet but are surprisingly smooth once on the lips. I don’t like that there is no identifier as to the lipstick color from the outside, except the bottom label. The EL insignia on the outside is attractive but would be nicer if it was color-keyed to the lipstick shade so if you are carrying more than one, it is easier to identify which color you want. The bullet is also slightly smaller than most EL lipsticks, at .1 oz, where most EL lipsticks are about .12 oz. I wish there were more colors, especially chrome (which I’m partial to). The lipstick is a little drying and velvety on the lips by itself, though adding a dash of gloss seems to balance that out. After having the color Deny for a week, I’ve found myself using it almost exclusively and like it enough that I’m considering also purchasing Unspeakable, a mid-toned warm pink shade with cooler sparkle to it. Overall this lipstick has been a great find, it’s been a long time since I’ve found a new lipstick that’s captivated me like this one has.
