Echoes
Walking to our table in a San Francisco restaurant, a gentleman caught the the scent of this perfume left on the air after I'd passed his table. He asked the restaurant owner, a personal friend of mine, what the fragrance was that I was wearing. She related this exchange and I shared with her the name of it.
Without fail, this perfume garners attention when worn. As the gentleman described it, "the loveliness of it continues to echo afterward." A beautiful scent like this is not soon forgotten. I enjoy the experience of wearing it.

private collection gardenia
I was very disappointed in this fragrance ...there is only a hint of a scent
when you first spray it after that the scent is gone .... for the price i expected more
from Estee lauder ...

Heaven "scent"
I am a self admitted Chanel, Prada, Annick Goutal and Bond ADDICT. I am incredibly particular about fragrance! I have only found one other Estee Lauder fragrance I have liked (Bronze Goddess in summertime) but they did hit a home run on this fragrance. Delicate notes that are high quality that wear down to something that smells clean and fresh. I personally believe that the better fragrances (even a smaller sampling of those) tend to wear better and interact positively with your chemistry vs. those fragrances that smell like a candy store and just "sit" on your skin and hair- blechhh. Holy Jolly Rancher! This will be a staple in my fragrance wardrobe. If you are familiar with Kai fragrance it could be a sister fragrance! :-)

Nice, but not amazing
This is a pleasant scent for spring, evoking warm evening walks through flowering gardens. It is not a complex scent. My disappointment lies in the lack of a tuberose note --- the gardenia is by far dominant, along with some other light flower notes. Not too sweet or cloying, a perfectly pretty scent, but I really wanted a true hit of luscious tuberose.

I recently visited the Perfume Counter at the downtown Seattle Nordstrom store. This was a special day for me. While sad about my husband’s passing last year, I felt sure he would be pleased that I was going to buy myself a special gift. Why? For 28 years I had not worn perfume, due my hubbie’s breathing challenges, thus our entire home was scent-free.
I did long for one of my favorites scents—gardenia. Your very kind and attentive Sales Representative, Jesse, took the time to help me choose just the right brand of Gardenia—Estēe Lauder. He also included in my bag samples of several other scents I could try, and to keep in mind for futures perfume purchases or gifts. I left your store feeling pampered, and knowing my dear hubbie would be happy for me.

Should be True-berose!
The first time I had the occasion to smell this unbelievable fragrance I fell in love with it! After several trips to Hawaii and enjoying fragrant tuberose leis I was more than in heaven when I breathed in this floral elegance! It takes me back to Hawaii and ocean breezes filled with tuberose fragrance. If you love tuberose and gardenias you will love this fragrance. A little goes a long way and I always receive compliments! I think it is heavier in tuberose than gardenia. Thanks Estee Lauder's granddaughter - you nailed it! Susan

My only one
I have used this fragrance ever since Estée Lauder introduced it. It's the ONLY fragrance I use. It's such a lovely fragrance and I must receive at least two or three compliments a day. I could be the cheerleader for this scent if Estée made a commercial.
