'Bronze Goddess - Eau Fraîche' SkinScent

I don't understand all the reviews. So much controversy about each year's release being different or the same from years prior, but now I'm partial. I remember sampling a few years ago and liking it. I did a sort-of blind buy this year and am really disappointed. The initial spray is ok, I understand it's "eau fraiche" skinscent, translating to mean not perfume oil percentage intensity, but it disappears before developing into anything at all. Not loving the initial spritz and waiting for a party, or at least a conversation that never happens...I think I will be returning.

After reading the hype about this product, I was eager to purchase it this Spring. I love Bobbi Brown Beach and I really "wanted" to love this too. Unfortunately, this SkinScent has very little scent at all. I can barely smell it right after I have squirted it onto my skin. Even the room does not smell like it (as most scents leave a lasting impression for a while at least). Lastly, my husband never mentioned the fragrance and said he couldn't smell it at all, and he has a very sensitive nose. Therefore, I am sending it back. Looks like Bobbi Brown Beach will remain my go to summer cologne.

This perfume is one of my favorite summer scents. This really smells like a vacation in a bottle it's warm sweet but not overly sweet. I really love this alot.

Bronze Goddess has a light scent that is perfect for summer. Definitely a beachy smell. Fragrance seems to last most of the day.

Yes, it's a beachy scent. Relaxing and calming in a vacation on a beach way! My type of smell especially when a beach is nowhere close! It's light and a perfect summer scent.
