Extraordinary fragrance for sophisticated woman
This fragrance is quite unusual in that it's rich yet dries light in spite of the amber which can be intense. Aerin's blend is pitch perfect; slightly floral but with a kick - almost orange blossom, yet the amber provides an intricacy and depth difficult to achieve. I'm surprised that this is the first review because to me, amber musk is her most creative and distinctive fragrance. The other fragrances in the line are lovely florals that are easy to wear - amber musk however, is special - very sophisticated and to my mind a dramatic yet very wearable scent for all four seasons. I intend to savor this purchase and hope many of you will as well.

BODY CHEMISTRY AND SCENTS
I love Love LOVE warm amber and vanilla scents and they tend to wear well on me as it’s been my usual go-to fragrance. I made a blind purchase online based off of all of the positive reviews on Aerin Amber Musk and the great deals on fragrance sets available around the holidays. Upon receipt, I sprayed one spritz on the inside of my elbow and it smelled awful like decades old spoiled musk and had to wash off the stench immediately. Just don’t understand all the positive reviews this scent keeps getting but I do understand that body chemistry makes a difference, LESSON LEARNED.
Try it if you can find it at your local Nordy retailer, seek samples before investing on any scent! It may smell nice on a tester or strip of stock paper but SPRAY IT ON YOUR SKIN to ensure your body agrees with it—great way to test for skin allergies and sensitivities as well. I was banking on loving this as an intoxicating scent on me but it didn’t work out. Imagine the disappointment.

Smell Does Not Last
I love the scent but after 5 minutes of spraying it on, I couldn't even smell it anymore! For the price, this fragrance is definitely not worth it.

Floral with faint synthetic amber
From the description of this fragrance I was lead to believe the top note would be the warm Amber essence; as with the Aerin Amber Yang-Ylang which I love. I was so disappointed that the Amber Musk is primarily a floral with a synthetic Amber back note that is hardly detectible. Not for me. If you like florals, you this is a lovely fragrance.

Softly sensual and feminine
I've never owned or smelled an Aerin fragrance and going by the name alone, this is not one I would have normally been attracted to. But my friend gave me a huge bag of perfume samples, this being one of them, and this was an instant love at first sniff. I'm not, or didn't think I was a fan of amber or musk, but this one smells so soft and pretty. Compared to some other amber fragrances, this one is softer and not as overwhelming, so perhaps for people like myself who aren't a big fan of strong amber notes, this one might be a good one to ease into. The first day I wore this perfume, I was wearing a super soft and pale nude/light tan sweater, and if perfumes could have a corresponding color and texture, it would be that. The scent is so warm, softly sensual and romantic and just so beautiful. I feel so feminine when I'm wearing this.

Zero staying power
I loved this scent and its gorgeous balance of warmth and freshness. I could smell the bottle all day long. When I spray it on myself (skin, hair, clothing…) it’s like spraying water. Neither I nor the family I asked to smell me could detect it. Very odd indeed. If you’re looking for a similar vibe with staying power Ellis Amber Musk is a better bet.
