Beautiful iris-incense-tea accord
I am growing increasingly besotted with the works of Shyamala Maisondieu, the nose behind Tender Light. The last thing I needed was another iris fragrance, but this one is so radiant and transparent that I knew I'd need more than a travel-size sprayer. It's really sheer and luminous, but it has surprising tenacity, and I can still catch whiffs of it several hours after spraying, even though it does wear close to the skin. Recommended if you're a fan of Prada Infusion d'Iris or Van Cleef & Arpels Bois d'Iris; you also have to like jasmine, at least a little bit, to enjoy Tender Light, even though it's a non-indolic, tea-like jasmine.

Not floral to me at all
There is an undertone in this scent that burns my nose and is very unpleasant. Not the Estee Lauder perfume I'm used to loving.

Gorgeous, stunning scent
After blind buying Dream Dusk-which I loved-I decided to get the discovery set. When I first sprayed tender light, I liked it. But I wasn't sure it was love. A few months later I I sprayed Tender Light again after not using it, and now I love it but for a different reason than Dream Dusk. Whereas DD is fruity floral, Tender Light is classy with clean floral and tea notes. Very well executed. Pretty good sillage and longevity. Elegant and refined. It stands out. I bought the big bottle.

Stunned by it's beauty
After studying the 8 fragrance composition I ordered the discovery set. I pegged Tender Light to be one of 2 I wouldn't like. Because I never ever go for citrus or "fresh" fragrances. I had to go back and double check the description because with my first spray I was knocked off my feet! It is so so good. All of it but the best part to me was the long dry down of the gorgeous powdery Iris. I loved this so much I slept holding the bottle and every time I cracked open my eyes I put on a bit more! I will be ordering the largest size soon and it and one of the others are my 2 new signature scents!

clean scent lasts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] definately recommend this Tender Light, it is not a heavy perfume, it has a light scent that seems to last a long time Some scents are over baring and this is not.

Subtle Timeless Elegance
I have been wearing this perfume for six months. I cannot find accurate words to describe the perfume, but it is light and refreshing. I use it on days I stay at home. The scent makes me feel relaxed. It is not heavy and not too light, just the perfect blend. I have been wearing Estee Lauder perfumes since secondary school. This is my first perfume from this line; I find it the best line they have created. It is unusual and yet very elegant,
