Lash Primer Plus Full Treatment Formula

I've used every lash primer out there, from Lancôme to drugstore brands. Estee Lauder's version is one of my favorites but because you get such a small amount I had to knock a star off. For the price, you get half the amount of other primers - even from the prestige brands. The primer itself is very good; for those who feel lash primers are a waste, I urge you to try a good one. You won't be out anything and you may find them as indispensable as I do! This primer is not white like the others, it's a lavender color. White never bothered me because mascara covers it up, but some have issue with it. The brush is fantastic, it sweeps every lash from corner to corner perfectly. I apply mascara immediately after priming them, I find if I wait too long my lashes grow hard and clumpy. I use several different brands of mascara, it's no matter. It glides on, leaving my lashes noticeably longer and fuller, and I'm able to achieve that perfect fan shape. Do not hesitate to try this product!

I've been using this for 20 years and they have just kept improving the formula. I have medium length, sparse(ish) lashes, yet, nobody would know because I have always built up my lashes with lash primer first. I only need one coat of mascara over it to get full, dramatic lashes. Not it mention, makes my mascara last longer between purchases. The primer last over 3-4 months and is well worth the extra step and $.

I'm so happy Estee Lauder's lash primer formula has not been changed. The last time my order came through, I had purchased several, and they lasted for quite a while. About 20 years ago, I originally started using this product because my lashes were thinning. It seemed to be due to dryness, which I attributed to the continued use of mascara. Lash Primer Plus gives my eyelashes a wonderful conditioning base, and allows better adhesion for mascara to stay in place without smearing. The conditioning nature is so superior that the thinning of my eyelashes has stopped completely, even though many birthdays have passed since I first started using it. Along with my natural aging situation, I also have severe environmental allergies, and always use top quality water proof mascara. The result of using both products has solved watery eye problems, allowing me to makeup one of my best features, my eyes, in a safe and secure manner. Although very conditioning, Lash Primer Plus dries to a firm clear sheen, which I love as well. This drying nature of the product shapes and slightly curves your lashes before the final coat of mascara is applied. I believe that this firm conditioner aspect of the product has protected each one of my lashes over the years, which is an added plus on top of it holding the mascara in place at each application. I certainly hope that Estee Lauder never changes their formula, as it has been the best conditioner I could ever wish it to be.
