Double Wear Stay-in-Place Lip Pencil

Double Wear' Stay-in-Place Lip Pencil is a lightweight, creamy pencil and it glides on effortlessly and one end even features a lip brush. I took these photos in natural light. The first is the color NUDE it is a very pale light color with a subtle shimmer. The second is SPICE it is like a light muted soft brown. ROSE is also nice. MAUVE just looks like a deeper ROSE but it is also a great color. RED and WINE are also great. The color CURRANT I did not take a photo but it is very close to WINE just a bit deeper, I personally couldn't tell much of a difference. They are great lipliners, I hope these photos help when choosing a color.

First I want to say how glad I am that Nordstrom is finally writting reviews!! This is a fabulous lip liner. I was hesitant to try it at first. I went in for the lasting lipstick. I got that in Ruby, but it was a bit bright so the lady there suggested using this lip liner in Mocha to tone it down. It was a great idea! I use this lip liner with EVERY lip color I have including my chapstick and I always get compliments. I am fair skinned with light hair and Mocha is perfect. I will continue to buy this as long as they keep selling it. It makes my lip stuff last a really really long time. Thanks Estee Lauder. I will be trying other double wear stuff in the future.

'Double Wear' Stay-in-Place Lip Pencil is the best lip liner I have ever used. It took me quite awhile to try it because I have always used automatic lip pencils. The reason for that was that every lip liner I had used before always broke during sharpening, and I soon ended up with no lip liner left at all. I decided to give this a try, and to my utter surprise, it never breaks when sharpened. In addition to that, it does last longer than most lip liners, and does really help to keep the lipstick from feathering, and the gloss from flowing. However, I have not experienced it as lasting for 12 hours, but that may be the function of the fact that I use very light colors. I have recently begun to use darker colors for darker shades of lip color, and the darker ones do seem to last longer. One thing of which you should be aware is that Estee Lauder produces a special sharpener that is just right for this lip pencil. It is a "must" for anyone who purchases this lip liner, and the best part is that it is not at all expensive! This is a great product.

This is the only lip liner I ever wear because it stays on for hours and does not move or come off even after eating or drinking. I usually line my lips and then soften and blend the line using the brush and then apply my lipstick. I wear Russet because I wear mostly peach or coral lipsticks and it always looks perfect. I've told so many people about this liner - it definitely enhances your lipstick and gives you a finished look. The Nude is also a gorgeous color for lighter, beigey-nude or pale pink lipsticks. I love this liner and hope Estee Lauder never discontinues my colors.
