Finally!
I've tried so many foundations over the last few years but consistently have problems finding a good color match, that doesn't oxidize or irritate my skin. I have fair skin but with a warm undertone. Double Wear light in 1.0 is a perfect match! (For reference I am NC20 in Mac and light in Bare Minerals Matte) And it feels very light, like you're not even wearing foundation. It really doesn't need any powder to set it. Lasts all day, doesn't settle in fine lines or transfer onto clothing. So happy with this purchase!!

Bad/defective batch
I've used one of these before, purchased from another retailer. This time I bought it from Nordstrom. The one I received from Nordstrom comes out weird. It comes out in three separate layers, one clear, one white, and one tan. Even after I try squeezing the tube and mixing the content inside, the foundation still comes out separated.

Holy Grail
I've tried just about every "long-wearing" foundation out there, from drugstore to luxury brands, and I have to say, this is the best. I have very fair and sensitive, combination skin with rosacea (pretty much everything you don't want in a complexion, ha!). I have such a hard time finding something that will stay in place over my redness and not irritate or breakout my skin. This is it! It's gorgeous, easy to use, and really does stay in place all day. Love it!

Maybe not if you have dry skin.
I used to wear this all the time, but recently my skin has been like the Sahara. Even with moisturizing primer underneath, this accents the dry patches, and my fine lines. It is not for me, and I would not recommend it for dry skin. However, oily or combination skin would love this, and it wears great.

Hallelujah!
Stays in place even on oily skin!
I have found the one that works all day long without wiping off, sliding off, running off, or caking! It doesn't feel heavy or mask-like, which I can't stand.
This foundation comes in a nice range of shades, but it seems slanted to darker complexions. While I have a medium olive base, my face can need pinkness correction due to exfoliation. The 2.0 Intensity is a great match that also corrects without masking that pink "glow," but it's surprising that it's so light in their shade range.
I had previously converted to a light, watery Chanel foundation that was nice-feeling, but found it didn't last long enough. If I touched my face or scratched my forehead, I got foundation on my hands/nails or tissue. The next "heavier" foundation was too heavy, so I was back to wandering the cosmetics department... Hallelujah for Estee Lauder!

Truly the best all around for daily wear!
I've been on the hunt for a decent foundation that hits all my marks: natural, medium coverage, good stay power that doesn't dry out my skin, keeps the shiny nose at bay for most of the day and doesn't make my 50 something skin look old.
This is it - I love it. I've tried everything from drug store brands to high end foundations and almost everything in between. I've read every makeup blog and review trying to find what works best for combination 50 plus year old skin.
First of all, this goes on really easy with a beauty blender, takes only a minute or so to settle in and then gives that blurry, air-brushed look. Not fake coverall coverage but blurred imperfections. From there it just gets better. This foundation will last all day for me and doesn't settle into lines or create dry patches on my face. Also, it keeps my nose from getting the dreaded shine, until really late in the day. I don't know how EL created this super formula but it's perfect for me. I also keep an extra tube around. I just hope that EL continues to produce this for a long time.

Another Favorite
I have been crazy about experimenting with makeup since I was a teenager- quite a while ago! Tried all different brands, drugstore, to the most expensive. Still, I always return to Estée Lauder and Double Wear Light it high on my list of natural, light, long wearing foundations. I have light to medium fair skin and shade 2 is very close to matching--a little more yellowy but find it blends so well, doesn't feel heavy and masky and it really looks natural under all lighting. Love the tube rather than a bottle, too. It has a slight medicinal scent to me, rather than perfumed , but smells clean. Long lasting and creamy. A frequent favorite that I love!
