the nature of the product has drawbacks
Yes, the back of the drop is black. This is the nature of the way the frosted colored lucite pieces are made. For this reason, I suggest choosing pieces for which the back cannot be seen. The button earrings are delightful.

Cheap looking, black enamel on reverse side.
So much for Nordstrom and its superior packaging. These $110 earrings arrived wrapped in brown paper, in a cheap plastic bag. One earring had fallen off the cardboard and was lying in the bottom of the bag. No packing slip, no receipt…
The earrings are gold color on the front, but that does not go all the way around. Hideous black plastic on the back. They really are awful.
