What it is: A two-step clarifying peel powered by super-nutrient vitamin C that gently polishes skin as it fades dark spots and discoloration.
What it does: This system leaves your complexion feeling instantly new, with a smooth, even tone and illuminated glow. Protective antioxidants and collagen boosters combine to refine and renew skin, while lactic acid gently exfoliates so skin is properly prepped to absorb brightening, hydrating and healing nutrients. Carrot seed oil heals and balances dry or chapped skin while helping to fight age spots and sun damage.

How to use: Smooth the gently exfoliating peel (Step 1) over your face, avoiding your eye areas, and massage gently for up to three minutes. Mix the activator (Step 2) in your hands and massage onto your face over the peel. After one minute, rinse well with warm water. Use weekly as part of your ritual.

Received this product as a sample. I get tons of samples, but rarely see one from Erno Laszlo. EL is not a product I am very familiar with,(aside from seeing it on my stepmothers bathroom counter in the 90's) so, I was looking forward to giving it a try. Ya'll, please believe me when I tell you (and Im using the word "ya'll" to really impact the point I am trying to get across) this product is a MUST have. Currently, my skin is not in the best shape. To be honest, if I have a small blackhead or possible pimple, I "murder" my face. Pick it to death, and take it way to far. At the current moment, I have 3 of these "disaster areas" on my face. I have used peels, prescription retinol, exfoliant, serums, the works. Usually I can get the spots to go away, but this time, I took it to far. Well, I used this Vitamin C Peel, and moments after using the peel there was a HUGE difference. I mean huge. My face is soft, skin tone has evened out, and the spots (dark spots that I caused from picking) tightened, and are now on their way to going away. I definitely recommend this product, and will now (because of the sample that I received from Nordstrom) will start researching other EL products. Thank you Nordstrom! Nicole DeFontes

I have thoroughly researched this item and was super excited to use it . The first time I used it I noticed some break outs the next morning . The second time I used it I noticed even more of a breakout . I was using a facial cleanser from Germany for 10$ and this is over 100$ and making my skin look so bad .

ELazlo Dual C-Peel: Two Much Work
My sensitive skin felt smooth, dry and uncomfortably stripped of natural oil after using this. Phase 1 is a clear gel, Phase 2 is a thick paste with large, harsh exfoliating grains. The dual process requires too much work and time. I’ve gotten better results from one-step exfoliators and masks at a lower price point. I prefer hygienic tube plastic packaging, not glass, for anything used at the sink to avoid breakage.
