What it is: A lightweight clarifying oil that harnesses the power of charcoal and shea butter seedcake extract to deeply cleanse skin.

Who it's for: Ideal for those with dull, congested skin.

What it does: The cleansing oil works to dissolve surface impurities and makeup without leaving skin feeling tight or dry. Through Color-Change Technology, the dark oil turns creamy-white upon application for activated cleansing you can see. The formula for the brand's oil cleanser features charcoal, which gives the detox oil its initial black color. Upon application, with increased surface area available to absorb toxins, charcoal’s detoxifying powers really go to work. Alongside charcoal, the formula includes polysorbate 20—a sugar that brings the Color-Change Technology to life. When this hydrophilic sugar molecule meets the oils on your face, a creamy-white, cleansing emulsion is created.

How to use: Gently massage the cleansing oil onto dry skin using small, circular motions. Use on its own to cleanse skin or follow with a cleansing bar of your choice.

Best cleansing oil out there!
I bought this thinking it was a cleanser so I put it on the shelf for a month until I came across an article that said double cleansing with an oil really helps the skin and pores. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have to say my skin feels so much cleaner using this oil with my other cleanser and my pores have actually gotten smaller!

just ok outdated though.
I saw this oil as because I have always wanted to try a cleansing oil this is one of the originals and you can tell outdated smell and ingredients Chlorphenesin? Like are we in the 70’s come on does an ok job but I feel with the olive oil in it it fuels breakouts instead of (detoxing) my skin.

Erno Lazlo Detox Cleansing Oil
Highly recommend using this with the bar of one’s choice from Erno Laszlo to remove stubborn face makeup at nighttime. Honestly, I use micellar cleansing water to remove waterproof eye makeup first. If there’s still some makeup left behind, I add drops of grape seed oil on my hand and rub it all over my face to break down remaining makeup and start the double cleansing process using this cleansing oil and the sea mud cleansing bar from Erno Laszlo. It rinses clean without over drying my skin. Will repurchase again.
