Crop Rib Sweater

I live in high-waisted jeans and love pairing them with crop tops, so I was excited about this sweater. I also appreciated that it’s 100% natural fiber—good-quality knits at an affordable price can be hard to find these days! However, the sweater was a little too stiff and much too bulky for my taste. I wish it had more stretch or give, like I’ve experienced with other 100% cotton knit pieces. It’s very cute and seems well-made, but the fit wasn’t right for me. I especially found the bulkiness noticeable in the shoulder and underarm areas. I purchased both the camel and orange colors in sizes small and medium. I definitely preferred the size small. In the attached photos, I’m wearing the orange in size small and the camel in size medium, so you can see the difference. I absolutely loved the orange color and would have kept it if I’d felt more comfortable with the fit. For reference, I’m 5’3” with a curvy, pear-shaped figure. My measurements are 36” bust, 34D bra, 29” waist, and 41” hips. I typically wear size 4/6 in dresses, size small in tops, size 4/6 (27/28) in stretchy jeans, and size 6/8 in non-stretchy pants.

This sweater was cute online, but exceeded my expectations upon arrival!! I ordered an XS & it fits true to size. The color is a vibrant orange like the picture & the quality of the fabric is thick & durable. I tried this on with a pair of ripped jeans & it’s absolutely adorable & perfect for our mild California winters. I highly recommend!
