AMAZING
Ok, i was quiet skeptical with this purchase due to some reviews saying chunky babies might have an issue sitting in it comfortably. My baby girl is 11 months, very much chunky and quiet tall and she fits perfectly in it! Its all about the strap’s adjustment, cushions and the back of the seat adjustment. We used previously Nuna Pipa Lite RX and every time i was putting her in, she was fussy. With the Maxi Cosi the installation was extremely easy. Just follow the instructions on the car seat sticker. And what was important, my baby girl has a happy face when i put her in it. I recommend it 100%

Horrible Install - NO NOT PURCHASE
I bought this carseat back in July of 2023. There was a great sale and I jumped at the chance to buy this as I have loved other MaxiCosi items. My daughter was still to small for it at the time of purchase so we waited to install it. Fast forward to March 2024. we finally need to use it. We tried to install the seat in our car (a Tesla3) about five times. Every time we did so, the seat remained loose. We followed every direction and it remained loose. Past the 1 inch safety guidelines. We kept trying and trying and it remained to loose. We tried to return it but Nordstrom now tells us that it is too late and we can't return it out of the box. How are we suppose to know that it's a bad seat if we do not take it out of the box?? That's ridiculous! I get that we waiting regarding the date of purchase, but that is not why we were told we could not return it. Its insane to me that we would not be able to take a product out of the box to try it, especially a seat that we need to try and install. Anyway, its incredibly loose to a very unsafe degree when you install it. DO NOT BUY THIS! I mentioned our vehicle type so anyone who owns a Tesla3 will know it does not install safely into that vehicle.

Chest Strap Covers Need Re-Design
We LOVE the thoughtful design of all 8 of our Maxi Cosi car seats that we have had over the years... BUT...
For the arrival of our 4th baby we got two of the Emme seats and I was so excited to have a rotating car seat. However, my by brand new 4 week old baby has his hands and wrists scraped to the point of bleeding each time he is in these seats from the sharp edges of the velcro on the chest strap covers. For the longest time I couldn't figure out what was cutting him up - because who expects the car seat to cause that?!? Once we figured it out, we tried everything to remove the sharp edges, but I can't cut the sharp parts down since it is so close to the seam. Now my baby has long socks over his hands and arms in order to safely ride in his seat. For such an expensive seat, I expected better Human Factors engineering. I would rate the rest of this seat a 10/10, but this one issue caused injury and bleeding to my newborn. A simple design change to the same "Out-Of-The-Way" strap covers as the other Pria Max and Magellen Max seats would make a big difference. Also use snaps instead of velcro! That would make a world of difference.

really great car seat!
We were hesitant to buy this car seat because of the reviews about the installation. The install was SO EASY!! As a female in my 40’s I found the seat to be a smidge heavy, while carrying it to the car, but had absolutely no issues installing it. The video tutorial was awesome also. The rotate feature is amazing and makes entering and exiting the car seat super convenient. It’s also convertible so we will be using it for a while! We love the color palette and cup holders are such a life saver for keeping track of binkies and holding bottles. We really love this car seat!!

Awesome
Easy to install. And comfortable for our baby. Plus it’s easy to rotate. Some reviews said it digs into the thighs of the baby but we don’t have that issue at all.

The most comfortable seat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased our daughter one just in time for our road trips, she loves this seat. It’s easy to clean and we love the 360 rotation feature. This seat was one of my favorite investments.
