Emmaretta Sleeveless Tie Waist Maxi Dress

This is the second Doen dress I’ve tried this season that is entirely sheer. I was hoping with the dark color that this wouldn’t be an issue, but the fabric is still very light and thin with no lining. I don’t know how you can wear this, as the entire outline of my body was visible through the dress. There is probably $10 worth of thin cheap fabric and no special craftsmanship in this $330 dress. Disappointed in Doen - I dont get the hype and won’t give them a third try.

Beautiful, fun print and color. It's more opaque than their other lighter color dresses and you can wear a regular bra with it as well. The sizing is generous because of the adjustable ties. I'm 5'2 and it is a maxi on me and hits right at ankle. I feel it runs slightly smaller than the other emmaretta styles in the past and their other similar dresses from previous years. I ordered my usual doen dress size in XS and I sent it back for a S for extra room in the bust area. Both works, but the S fits way better and roomier. I can't wait till the weather warms up to wear this.

I'm finding I need to size up in my Doen dresses this year. I love this dress - the blue color, the fit, the fabric! The ties are a bit too long though and look a little strange, but that's ok. Just wish it didn't cost so much - I find their prices are increasing rapidly with each season's drop.

Love this fun print! Surprised to see other reviewers found this to run small. Ran slightly large and already a very forgiving style. Usually a size small and preferred the fit and length in XS

Runs large! Nice details, rich color, and the high quality we expect from this brand. It’s sheer though but nude under clothing takes care of this. If you’re on the fence—buy it!!

I wanted to love this dress so badly but on my 5’3” frame it’s basically floor length and the bust area is quite loose. Overall just looked frumpy
