Embroidered Western Boot (Women)

First off, these boots are genuine leather. That aroma is the first thing you'll notice upon opening the box. Scrumptious! Beautiful. I love them even though they are not the boot for me. In my quest for a comfortable, low shaft boot for country line dancing, this boot's quality stands out against the rest. Tag says individually hand-crafted, made in Mexico. It is a WOW boot, through and through, beautiful inside and out. The sole is also made of leather. I have seen that one of the first things you are supposed to do with a new pair you plan to call your own is take them outside and scuff up the sole. My feet are thin with a high arch, and I wear a size 9 in most shoes. Comfort is of utmost importance for me. FIT: Feel it is a little big in length. While the boots fit, my heels slip a bit even with my thick socks. New to a cowboy boots, I know they are supposed to feel tight across the arch and have a little give in the heel, so cannot say if this is the intended fit. Note the tapered toes. Definitely a slight squish factor up there. While it feels doable in a try-on, sadly, I don't think these would work for me for a night of line dancing. Shaft sits very wide on my calf. I can see down into the boot along the calf, which I don't think I like. Might not be the style for someone with thin calves. If you have a wider calf, they would likely be perfect for you. My husband has seen a TON of boots in recent weeks. He has declared this pair from CORRAL, "A cut above the rest," as far as looks. I agree and am going to try a different style from this same company with high hopes they will be perfect for me.
