Embroidered Maxi Trench Coat

I desperately needed a new spring looking coat and live in a climate where I'll wear this constantly. I am THRILLED with this coat and am so glad I purchased it and found it here. I'm pretty selective about buying new clothes and only get what I know I'll love. I wasn't sure how it would fit and went by the listed measurements for S to order an XS. If this is helpful, I'm about 5"7, short waisted, 34c, about 135# with narrow shoulders. Usually a 2 waist up, 4 waist down in standard clothes. It fits perfectly even over a thick turtleneck. The next size up would have been too big. (If you need it smaller you can probably wash it and the cotton will shrink). The outer material is like a very very thick canvas, like at least 2 mm thick. It was thicker than I expected, and the partial lining (body, sleeves) is a good but very thin material. The buttons are brownish-black, like a very dark stained wood. Hope all these details help. I was expecting a lighter weight coat with a thinner material/tighter weave but the style, fit, etc. is so perfect I'm still thrilled! It's a true natural ivory, a tad bit darker than canvas for a painting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a beautiful coat! The fit is really flattering with the tie waist, and the cotton fabric is structured but not too heavy. It’s an easy piece to dress up but still feels effortless for everyday. I ordered my usual size and it's tailored but with room for layers. If you're petite, the sleeves might be a bit long. Love that it's machine washable too--so tricky to keep whites fresh! Recommend!
