Horrible cut
I personally can't justify the amount of returns I need to do because of sizing issues. Decline of quality has killed my perception of this brand. My latest hoody ordered in large is cut for someone at least 20kg heavier than the three large exact same hoodies i bought a year earlier.
I can't replace my Proton AR because the new cut sucks and the large is now meant for shorter/fatter people. Same for my 10 year old cerium. Magnus and Therme would be nice to replace, but I know i won't fit unless I gain weight.
Steady decline

Hello there, thank you for taking the time to share such honest and detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear how frustrating your recent sizing experiences have been, especially when past versions of these pieces fit you well. Consistency matters, and it’s completely understandable that repeated returns and noticeable changes in fit would impact your confidence in the brand. Our teams do update patterns over time to improve comfort, mobility, and inclusivity, but your experience shows that these changes haven’t aligned with what worked for you in earlier versions. We appreciate you calling this out, and your comments about the fit of the Emblem Fleece Hoody, Proton AR, Cerium, Magnus, and Therme will be passed along to our design teams as we continue refining our sizing and ensuring better continuity across seasons. Thank you again for sharing your perspective with us.

Perfect for indoor and outdoor activities
This is what I reach for on an early winter morning before the heat comes on. The fleecy inner is super cozy and makes getting up and around to make coffee a cheerful task. Also, good for layering over a merino wool t-neck and covering up with a windproof layer before heading out for a walk. The hood is well designed and protects my head when I choose to wear it and the body of the hoodie fits comfortably close to insure warmth.

Inconsistent fit
Bought this hoodie in two colors and the black one is significantly smaller than the other one, not comfortable and I don’t wear it
arcteryx.com response
Hello there, thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We can understand how disappointing it must be to receive two hoodies in the same style but notice a significant difference in fit, especially when one ends up being uncomfortable. We offer free returns within 30 days of purchase, so if something doesn’t meet your expectations, whether due to fit, comfort, or anything else, you’re welcome to return it. We’d be happy to take a closer look at both items to better understand what might be going on.
