Elspeth Button Front Belted Wool Midi Skirt

I went by the waist and hips measurement, so thought the XS would fit. It was quite large! I'm returning and will try the XXS. One thing I thought was odd ... the bottom button is a real button. I'm not sure why anyone would want to undo that one, as it has a side zip. Also, the liner does not fully go behind the buttons so when your legs are not parallel, there is a gape between the buttons and you can see inside the skirt. I'll be curious to see if that becomes better or worse with a skirt that fits better (I'm guessing worse). Other than that, it's a nice skirt. Not sure about the belt, I feel like the buttons add enough decor and the two together is a bit much.
