Elroy One-Shoulder Satin Gown

I love the print, length, and color, however despite fitting well through the body, my shoulder is not exposed like the model. The side that should be off the shoulder is barely past the edge of my collar bone, so it ends up just looking a little awkward instead of intentionally asymmetric. I am taking it to be altered in hopes of achieving the look because I do really like the gown.

I love how this falls on the body, it’s a bias-cut, so it really drapes beautifully. Unfortunately one of the side seams on my dress was puckered from the thigh down. It’s at a loose hanging point in the dress, so it was really obvious. I will try to exchange it to see if I get more lucky, if not I’ll have to return it

This dress is lovely. I purchased it as a potential dress for my daughter's wedding. It was true to size and the material was soft and comfortable. However, it just did not work for my body type. The one shoulder fell awkwardly on me and the bias cut in the back was not flattering. Also, it was not dressy enough as a mother of the bride dress. IT would make a pretty dress for a wedding guest or for a guest at a formal event.
