Long Shawl Collar Blazer

I wanted the black and they canceled the order, so I ordered the white. It is fine - it's a little more of an off white with a yellow tint. I decided I just wouldn't get enough wear out of it in a Chicago summer. The black came available in my size again, so I ordered it - I'll see how I like it. I was also afraid the fabric may make me warm in the summer. The black I can wear a lot more months.

Is it ok to be in love with a blazer? As a woman on the higher sized plus clothing I was so happy this blazer fit so well. I love the longer length which hides some body parts I'd rather not have emphasized. I was apprehensive of the polyester fabric, but it looks and feels like a quality fabric. It's nicely tailored, has pockets and the hook and loop closure is more substantial than most others. Slight padding in the shoulders and the cut of the blazer gives a nice shape. The only negative thing I can say is that it was shipped in a plastic bag and was very wrinkled. Nordies used to ship things boxed and I miss those days. I'm going to put it in the dryer on low for a few minutes to see if that helps.
