Elly Water Resistant Puffer Jacket

Well....I wanted to love this jacket so much. In fact it was probably the thing I was most disappointed about when it didn't work out. First the positives. This coat is VERY well made. You can tell from the first moment you pull it out of the packaging. It's soft to the touch, the down alternative filling is substantial and the fleece lined stand up collar is soft and super warm. I loved the overall fit. I wanted a cropped puffer to wear with my high waisted wide leg jeans. This jacket hit the mark there. It's certainly city chic. BUT.....even sizing up to a medium for the hope of extra room - the freaking ARMS specifically the arm hole are too TIGHT! I tried it on first with just a tee shirt and it was wearable but when I put on my thinnest sweater I couldn't comfortably move my arms at all. I'm wondering what these manufacturers think people are going to be getting dressed in when it's 20 or 30 degrees outside? A tank top? NO! A thick SWEATER! Please make more room in the arms for winter layers!!!!!!!!

I wanted to love this jacket because it is adorable and very well made. I sized up to a 2(m) from my usual size of 0(xs) or 1(s). I tried on the jacket wearing just a tee and the jacket was perfect, if not a bit loose, in the torso for wearing with sweaters. However, the arms were absurdly tight. Unfortunately, this jacket is going back.
