Eliza Platform

This is a substantial, well-made, beautiful sandal, however, I had to return them. There appears to be a design flaw. The only thing holding the shoe on your foot is a thin, non-adjustable piece of leather at the heel, and it just kept slipping down, which made the shoe fall off. I bought 3 pairs, and it happened to all of them. If there was a buckle on the heel strap, it would be ideal, because you could adjust to your foot. I actually considered taking them to a cobbler to do that, as they really are a special sandal, but I opted not to. I'd also recommend making the heel strap more substantial, since it's the only thing keeping this rather heavy shoe on your foot. The other straps are fantastic - padded and very comfortable, however none of that mattered, as they wouldn't stay on my feet.
