So flattering! True to size for me
I wanted to write a review of this dress since the reviews helped me when purchasing this online, and they also made me nervous after I purchased this dress. I purchased this dress originally in the dark green for an upcoming holiday party. When I purchased the dress, they only had a size 2 left and only two of those left in stock. I am 5'6, about 137 lbs with curvier hips, 34C bust, and am usually between a size 2 and 4. After I purchased the size 2, I read the reviews and they all said this dress runs super small and a lot of people mentioned going up two sizes in it. A day later, the size 4 was available in the maroon color so I purchased that to be safe. After trying both on, I am sticking with the size 4 because of the length and it is a bit looser. I will say, the size 2 was not as tight as I expected it to be after reading the reviews. So in my experience, I would say this dress runs pretty true to size. The only differences were that it was a bit more snug around the hips and thighs in the size 2 for me, and a bit shorter than the size 4. Sorry for the novel- I wanted to write this to help everyone else out who is debating which size to get! It is a beautiful dress and super comfortable and flattering!

Ummmm
I book the dark green and it looked beautiful but after getting it dry cleaned, at a place I've gone to for years, the zipper wouldn't lay flat. It kept pushing out and looked like I was wearing a microphone pack. Disappointing!

Perfect fit
I agree this is more eggplant than maroon. Beautiful color either way. I love the fit and the length. I'm usually a size 6 but had to size up to an 8. I'm 5 4 weigh between 136-140 depending on the day of the week and number of tacos eaten over weekend. :) I needed a classy dress for an evening fundraising event.

Beautiful Dress
This is an absolutely beautiful dress. The fabric is nice, with a bit of stretch, and the hunter green is perfect for the holidays. It runs true to size, but be prepared for a body-hugging fit. I did have a problem with this dress, however, and decided to return it. Since I'm going to be out in Chicago (cold, cold, cold!), I first tried it with sheer black pantyhose in hopes of having a bit more warmth, but when I walked, the dress would start to ride up my legs. I thought that maybe the lining was catching on the pantyhose, so I took them off. Unfortunately, it still rode up a bit. Now, that may be due to some weird thing about my body, so I'd still encourage anyone to buy this dress. Thanks to Nordstrom, you can always return free of charge.

Beautiful dress!
I love this dress so much that I immediately bought a second one to store for someday, when this one wears out. The color is lovely and the styling flattering.I'm a 50 year old professional woman and this will be lovely for evenings out and for the holidays.

Pretty Color
I am 5'7 and about 140. I ordered my normal size 4 and it was too snug up top for me. The bottom was fitted but fit well. I can't see this fitting a curvy figure well unless you went up in size. The color was very pretty. The material does not move much and their is a seam along the waist that is unnecessary.
