1920's Glamour!
Wow - the picture simply does not do this dress justice! I ordered a few sizes up to ensure enough drape throughout the body - amazingly, even the neckline looks great, and I suspect it would have been good in my regular size, or up to two sizes larger, as the one I ordered was. What is not really clear in the picture is a "shoulder pad" effect that makes the shoulders look strong and powerful, while the rest of the gown simply looks like pure glamour, Old Hollywood. Dress is almost identical to one of the top formal designers' gowns I saw for $2,000! I already have a dress to wear to my son's wedding, but this one is so tempting that I might just change my mind. Keeper!
