Lace & Faille Dress

When I got the invitation I only had a week to get myself a dress that made a statement. Being in Hawaii, its hard to find a dress that is one of a kind. I don't normally buy clothes online but this purchase was entirely worth it to wear to the White House. It fit quite well too. It even matched the rich blue Air Force uniform that my husband wore. Several people approached me to say they liked my dress, asked who was the designer, and where did I buy it. The most common description of it was "very Jackie Kennedy meets Michelle Obama". The best thing about it is that its simplicity is its elegance. I couldn't have made a better choice in a last minute investment. With a pair of nude pumps and light accessories and you're good to go!

Okay ladies, let's talk. I'm in my early 30's. I've been looking for the perfect dress to wear as a guest to my friends wedding. I wanted something that accentuated my waist and hid my problem areas (arms and hips). I saw this dress online and thought it looked.... very mature. So I didn't order it, despite the good reviews. My BF went into the store and saw it in person. She called and said it looked much better, and younger in person. I trust her, so I ordered it and... I looooove it! It hits in all the right spots and hides what it needs to, while still looking young, sexy and cute. I love this dress and I love the way I feel in it. For reference I am 5'3" and 135 pounds. I ordered an 8 Petite and it fits perfect.

When I bought this dress I couldn't have been more excited! I wanted to wear it for my HS reunion. I am a mother of 3 so the bottom portion was flattering!! No spanx required! The top part however is made for a small back/bust. I am 5'11 and wear a 14 usually. The 16 on top was snug I am a 38B. I had to take it to a seamstress and they were able to re sew the bust and let it out on the sides. It was just enough for it to fit! Thank goodness because I really loved the neck like and arm length. If you have a small back and waist this dress will fitike a glove!

I purchased this dress in navy online and was anxious to see it in person and try it on. I worried that it might look too matronly (lots of "mother of the bride" comments in the reviews) but was happy to find that it was beautiful in person and the flare of the skirt gave it a youthful and flirty look. I found the fit true to size and it flattered my hourglass figure and large bust while hiding my bit of post-baby belly. The lace detailing is beautiful and I love the length of the sleeves. When I tried it on for my husband, he said, "Wow!" My only problem with the dress is that the lace along the neckline keeps folding over in places and exposes the lining, making it look tacky and like I am showing my bra. The lace detailing along the neckline is what makes the dress so exceptional so it is frustrating that it won't lay flat. I am going to buy some clothing tape to see if that will hold it in place, but if that doesn't work I will sadly be returning it.

The dress arrived quickly and was just beautiful. Unfortunately, it simply isn't suited for someone with any bust to speak of (I'm a 34D). The dress was so tight around the bust that it was indecent. If I'd gone up a size, the waist would need to be taken in and I didn't have time for that. I would recommend this dress only for someone with a small bust.

This dress is perfect for parties and weddings. This dress was shipped, along with 3 others, to my home. I am 5'2" weigh about 140 (about means 145) and ordered the dress in 10P. The reviews were correct about how the dress fits. The waist has zero give. I did try the dress on with my shapewear and heavy-duty corset underneath. From the reviews, I was concerned how big the skirt area would look. But when I tried it on, it was very flattering. Plus it has pockets. I know we shouldn't put our hands in our pockets, but c'mon. I find pockets useful when hiding emotions. You know how it is...you are at a wedding, and don't want to see, but do want to see, certain people. For whatever emotion you feel when talking to them - jealousy, annoyance, disdain - the pockets are the perfect place to hide your emotions. Instead of showing these feelings, you can clench your fists or tap your fingers out of the sight of your nemesis. The v neck is extremely flattering. From the pictures I couldn't tell how pronounced my décolletage would be. Would it be PG-13 or R? This dress is for a wedding, not to score a sugar daddy. I'm married. with 2 kids. Plus this is a family wedding, so that would just be an inappropriate location to do that. Thankfully the v-neck was perfect and covered me appropriately.
