Lace Blouson Maxi Dress

I purchased this in petite because I really liked the scalloped lace on the bottom on the dress, and I didn't want to have it hemmed. Be advised this dress is really long. I am 5'2", and I have to wear tall 4 inch platform wedges so the dress doesn't hit the floor. Also, the lace is very substantial, not light and delicate, and the lining is on the heavy side. It will probably be too heavy for a hot summer outdoor event. However, I like that it is not too delicate because I don't want to worry about snagging or ripping the lace when I wear it. The lining is a bit darker than what it shows in the picture so that pattern of the lace stands out more. It is a bit different than what I expected, but I will probably keep it. If you are looking for something really light and delicate, this isn't the dress for you.

I am 5'3", 105 lbs and purchased the 0 petite. I am long-waisted and petites generally do not fit me. However, the waist hit at the perfect spot. I can wear flats or heels with this dress with no problem. I love this dress !!

I ordered this online without trying it on for an event I was attending for my husband. The shipping was faster than anticipated (one of the many reasons why Nordstrom is the best!!!) And when it arrived, I LOVED it! The dress is absolutely stunning and so flattering! Sometimes maxi dresses aren't as flattering on me but this one was perfect! I ordered it in my usual size (4) and it was a great fit! I'm 5'8 so I had no problem with the length. This is for sure one of my most favorite dresses I've ever owned! It's gorgeous, great quality, flattering, & comfortable!!!! I'm SO glad I ordered it!

I ordered this dress to wear to a summer wedding. The dress is extremely heavy and lacks shape. I ordered a size 4 and the dress was way too long. I am 5'4" and 112 lbs. This dress swallowed me up. I'll have to return it.

I purchased this dress for a recent trip to Bermuda, and wore it to an outdoor reception followed by an amazing dinner at a famous local restaurant. It was perfect for the occasion and I received many compliments. I am almost 5'10" and it was long enough for me to wear with flat sandals. It was very comfortable. Armpit holes seemed large but all worked out with strapless bra and button at top helps pull the top part up. I liked the obvious gold zipper in the back--looked nice with gold pendant necklace and bracelets.

As other reviewers have stated this dress runs about 1 size big. I'm 5'6 and usually a medium / size 8 and the 8 was too loose around the bust and waist. Returned for a 6 and it's perfect. Still need to wear a few inches in heels due to length.
