Knocked It Out of the Park

I purchased this dress for a recent wedding & couldn't have been more pleased. Full disclosure -- I am no fan of navy. Never cared for it & have always thought if you're gonna wear a dark color, you might as well go black. Well, lesson learned! The hanger does not do this dress justice & I think with my hair color, it just popped. The neckline is stunning & I did not have to wear shapewear. It was very comfortable & dancing wasn't a problem. I'm 5'3", 130 lbs, 34 DD & the only size my local Nordstrom had was an 8. Forget the size on the label! I'm usually a size 2-4 in dresses based on style & have realized every designer sizing is different. If they'd had a size 6, I probably would have fit into that a tad better but it wasn't baggy in the top/under arm area. The dress does have built-in bra cups which came in handy as I ended up having to go commando because my strapless bra showed. I did have to get it hemmed, but that's par for the course given my height. I received so many compliments all evening even from the young gals! I paired it with some simple rhinestone earrings, silver strappy sandals & a cutie-as-a-button silver/gray clutch from Versona (much cheaper than other places). Highly recommend this lovely dress & cannot wait to wear it again!

Beautiful Dress BUT

I bought this dress in the blush color for my son’s wedding. It is beautiful and true to size fit for me ( I bought in a size 2 and 4 and kept the size 2) I liked that there were built in cups and didn’t need a bra (straps would have shown through.) It was long even with my heels and I probably should have had it hemmed ( I’m 5’4) The problem with this dress is that it so easily snags on everything! It’s fully laced and I had repeat issues with things getting caught in it. My bracelets, rings and the clutch I carried. I had a panic attack moment on the way to the church as I had my clutch in my lap and the chain strap got caught and stuck. Have no idea how my husband was able to detach it from me but it did get snagged and pulls in many places. I would never have bought this dress had I known the issues I’d have all night. It’s high maintenance. Would not recommend.

Beautiful dress!

So pretty and looked good on. It was a little snug in the bust and stomach area, so I decided on a different dress. I might have tried to make it work, but preferred a lighter shade for my son's summer wedding.

I had to go out to dinner the night we bought this

Just so I could wear it. I got a size 8. I'm 5'7", 147 lbs. It fit perfect. My bra strap can be seen in the back but it's not obvious with the busy lace so I don't care. Such a flattering fit.

Pretty but size up

I loved this dress but I do need to be able to zip it and although I am a true size 12, the size 14 was too small. So bummed! Why do dresses always run so small?!

Beautiful Dress!

I was looking for a dress for a wedding and wanted feminine & comfortable . I'm 68 and wanted something that was not too young looking. This beautiful lace dress is lovely! Made well, fabric is so comfortable and pretty. Length is perfect for dancing. Great price! Will wear often as I do ballroom dancing too!
