Floral Print Satin Twill High/Low Fit & Flare Dress

Beautiful dress, but the middle by my rib cage is SO tight. The rest of the dress fits everywhere, but it's got room in the ribcage for a very tiny woman who is very small there. I'm slender, and the rest fit everywhere, except for the ribcage. there was no room to let out either. The 6 was too big everywhere else and the 4 was too tight in that rib area.

Really cute dress with weighty fabric. However, I ordered 2 and they both had a strange flower petal from the print sticking out of the center seam that looked like a mistake. The picture shows the whole middle area blue but both dresses that I ordered appeared like something pink was spilled in the middle area due to the odd placement of the print. I sent them both back. :(

THIS WAS THE ONE! I was looking for a dress for my wedding, and wanted a very non-traditional one. After trying on dozens of dresses, the "Nordstrom Recommends" banner had this one. I bow to the Nordstrom computer model for putting it up there! It was totally not even close to what I was looking at but is the perfect dress. Okay, to the dress. The fit is awesome. The empire waist is extremely flattering and the low neckline actually is too. the pleating in front gives the dress a very flowy look and feel, plus makes it very comfortable. The high/low hemline is flattering, much to my total surprise. The width on the shoulder straps is perfect, not to wide and not to narrow. AND, it has hidden pockets! The fabric is polyester, but really looks like a lightweight silk and has a pretty sheen to it, it's a really nice weight and easy to wear. The lining lies flat and is not bulky at all. HEADS UP - I had to go up 2 sizes in this designer. I had tried a lot of Eliza J dresses on already, so I knew that when I ordered. The Eliza J dresses I tried on were all cut very "narrow" in the ribs, waist and hips. I'm 5'6" inches, weigh 167 and have a straight body type with a very long waistline. Generally I can wear a size 12, I have to go to a 16 with this designer. I was concerned that the dress would be to big everywhere except the rib cage, but it's perfectly in proportion. I would recommend this dress to anyone looking for a pretty dress for a fancy occasion.

Beautiful royal blue dress and amazing floral detail. The satin fabric is thick so it smoothes and covers without any shapewear. An added bonus I love are the pockets! So great to be able to carry a phone and some lip gloss without them being seen! I’d say it’s true to size, maybe even a little small. I can usually do a 6 or 8 in this silhouette, but I couldn’t even zip the 6 all the way up my back. The 8 fit like a glove!
