Our new favorite small appliance

My family is loving our new waffle maker. We like having the choice of a regular waffle or a thick Belgian waffle. Also, cleanup is so easy. But the number one thing I like is that it doesn’t have a hot Teflon chemical smell like my old iron. Green Pan wins with their toxin-free pans and appliances!

Minor gripe but I'm still frustrated.

If I buy the small waffle maker I get regular and Belgian waffle pans. If I buy the big dog multi grill I can only get the Belgian waffle plates (the regular waffle plates aren't even an option I can buy as an accessory). So now I'm forced to buy the cheaper limited use smaller waffle Iron for both waffle options and NOT the more expensive 'elite multi grill' (which I would have bought in a second) as well as spend more money on some extra regular waffle plates (which I would have also bought). There was an opportunity here to make sense and take my money but that's not even an option. I'm mad enough about this I think I'll buy the Breville out of spite.

Disappointment

I’ve had this waffle maker for few months now. Kept thinking there was a learning curve, but still not impressed for the cost. I’ve been making homemade waffles for years and love my other green pan products so was excited to get the waffle maker but after a few months of use wish it was returnable. Would probably give one star but is easy to clean and love that it’s non-toxic.

Excellent unit but cannot store standing!

This is an excellent unit which I bout in the UK and no doubt I will be my goto as are the rest of my new Greenpan pan collection. Unfortunately the stainless steel housing protecting the cable to the top plate is too big so the unit cannot stand independently when storing. This design fault needs to be fixed - see photos. Also when the unit is open the upper tray is not vertical leading to oil dripping onto work top rather than in dip tray and this is probably also related to the cable housing. Maybe I am just unlucky and this unit has not been through quality control 😢 Also please sell the waffle plate accessories in the UK!

Ceramic Waffle Maker
