What it is: A cleanser with a rich, comforting texture, nourishing ingredients and a warm, woody aroma that transforms your shower into a sensory experience.

What it does: This mild, emollient-rich emulsion is perfect for daily use. It features botanicals known for their purifying properties that help effortlessly remove surface impurities while rinsing with ease. Skin is left refreshed, soft and smooth and feels supple, too.

How to use: Dispense onto your hands or use with a washcloth or similar product in the shower. Massage onto soaked skin from neck to toe, then rinse thoroughly.

Smells like the Aesop deodorant

If you’re a fan of the classic deodorant (not the herbal one), you’ll love the smell of this. It has a lot of the same ingredients and smells quite similar. It’s more of a cream cleanser but lathers surprisingly well and actually leaves the skin feeling moisturized. They put a lot of thought into this one and it shows!

Aesop Cheapened Since L'Oréal Acquisition

I’ve been exclusively using Aesop’s full lineup—skincare, body wash, shampoo, perfume, incense, and even pet shampoo since 2018. It was a brand I truly trusted for its quality, thoughtful formulations, and premium experience. Since L’Oréal’s acquisition in 2023, I’ve noticed clear changes that have left me disappointed. Prices have increased across the range, yet the products themselves feel noticeably cheaper in texture and performance. Even the packaging and shipping have been downgraded: items now arrive in tiny boxes with less protective material, no longer sprayed with one of their scents and accompanied with a simple note card. This shift from the thoughtful, luxurious unboxing I was used to feels like a cost-cutting move that undermines what made Aesop special. I’m sad to say I’ll be searching for new alternatives to replace my entire routine. Loyal customers like me expect better from a brand that once justified its premium positioning.

my shower smells like a spa

This is the spa fragrance I was searching for! It doesn’t last long on your skin but it makes showering a pleasant experience. I had previously tried the geranium scent and didn’t like it, happy to find this scent.

Simply gorgeous! My daily essential.

My absolute favourite body cleanser in Aesop’s range (and I use them all). I adore the subtle clove scent as it lingers beautifully on my skin. It foams reasonably well for a cream, though is not a particularly high lather like their Geranium body cleanser. If you purchase this product I encourage you to also buy the Eleos Hand Balm. Finish off your routine with Marrakesh parfum as it compliments beautifully, - you’re welcome ☺️ Aesop, please introduce an Eleos Body Balm!

Luxurious and amazing!

My husband and I have been using Eleos for 3 months now. It leaves our skin nourished without a greasy feeling or residue. It smells absolutely divine! After showering the scent remain on the body and our apartment smells wonderful for hours on. It is very pricey, but I feel it makes the everyday PM showers like a ritual and it feels like an investment into our relaxing PM rituals. Could not reccomend enough!
