Elderflower Duvet Cover & Shams Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Ted Baker set really elevates the bedroom, with its delicate floral design embroidered onto the fabric, providing subtle color and texture to its bright white look. The duvet cover and 2 shams convey clean and crisp, while the unique addition of a gorgeous flower embroidery make it really special. The magnolia flowers are outlined in the thread of 3 beautifully complementary colors—burnt maroon, soft pink, and forest green. For a greater pop of color, fold over the top of the duvet to display the pink underside. The duvet cover features a luxurious dual-sided approach of a pretty sateen top and a breathable percale reverse, all in 100% cotton. On a full-sized bed, the full/queen duvet cover drapes generously over the sides of the bed so that the embroidery hangs down elegantly surrounding the bed. To prevent the flower-shaped edges from curling, I’ve ironed them after washing, though steaming once the bed’s been made may be an easier option for keeping the magnolias looking striking. This is bedding meant to impress.

I like that it’s white so it goes well with a lot of room decor. It’s versatile enough to use in our guest room and our daughter’s room. The duvet cover is very soft and silky. The simple floral embroidery details make it elegant but not overwhelming.
