Details & care

What it is: A conditioning treatment that delivers a super-charged boost of elasticity, moisture and strength to fine, medium and coarse hair.

Who it's for: Ideal for fine, medium and coarse hair types.

What it does: The pre-shampoo, nutrient-rich formula helps reduce the likelihood of breakage, leaving hair bouncy, silky, shiny and manageable without weighing hair down.

How to use: Before shampooing, thoroughly wet hair and apply the treatment in sections. Work into hair with fingertips. Cover with a showercap and leave for at least 20 minutes (the longer the better). Rinse well and follow with shampoo and conditioner. Use as least once a week.

damaging to my hair

I received this as a free gift and finally decided to use it after the reviews. First time using it tonight and I had so much hat fall out. I usually lose a little in the shower but this was more than 10 times that amount. Don’t waste your money.

I use Elasticizer at least

I use Elasticizer at least once a month as a treatment for my hair. It’s a brilliant product, my hair feels incredible afterwards. I leave it on for a few hours, wrapping my hair with a shower cap & then a hair towel. I have used Elasticizer for years . I have fine, straight, colour treated hair.

I Love the Philip Kingsley

I Love the Philip Kingsley products the elasticizer is a great conditioner and id give it 4/5 but only because my favourite product is the moisture extreme conditioner which has been great for my coloured hair, which I would rate 5/5

Don't hesitate! Buy it.

My curls are healthier, softer and bouncy. Elasticizer is the best investment I have added into my routine.

I have long, coarse, bleached

I have long, coarse, bleached hair and the elasticizer works beautifully at ensuring my hair stays tangle free in the shower, smooth after a blow dry and maintains it’s softness and shine before the next hair wash. I used it religiously for about 3 years, then stopped due to the price. However, I have since started using the product again and it’s a game changer from first use, a definite staple in my routine!

My hair is naturally kinky-coily,

My hair is naturally kinky-coily, and although I know this product isn’t typically marketed towards people of African descent with my hair type, I genuinely couldn’t recommend it enough! My hair is naturally quite dry and can feel almost straw-like, but using too much leave-in conditioner or curl cream tends to weigh it down. I’ve struggled to find that sweet spot between softness and hydration without my hair feeling coated in product. For the first time, my strands feel genuinely soft and hydrated! My hair is so much softer, easier to manipulate, and just feels lovely. It’s honestly such a refreshing change. I can’t even remember how I stumbled across this product, but aren’t I lucky? I’m so glad I did!
