Eileen West quality seems to have declined a bit
The knit seemed very thin on this gown and different from other Eileen West modal nightgowns I've bought in the past -- kind of too stretchy and clingy and potentially a little hot to wear. Also, it wasn't as generously cut as other Eileen West gowns I have, and the black was kind of grayish -- not deep and rich in tone at all. The lace wasn't so nice either and the ruffle at the hem was kind of skimpy. I'd be okay with that as I'd just as soon have a simple hem, but adding it to the other issues, I returned the gown. It also had a bit of a chemical smell, probably the dyes used, but I don't really know the answer there. All I know is it was off putting.
