Wests night gowns
A problem with Eileen West night gowns today is that the fabric is now so thin that after several washings, the nightgowns can be ripped easily.
The cotton fabric was more sturdy years ago when we bought at Nordstoms in L.A.
AND.... They were prettier.........with fabric dots on them,, more feminine & balletic like......

beautiful nightgown needing slight adjustment
I didn't realize the straps at the shoulders were stitched together under the bows, and I needed to make the straps shorter. I snipped the stitches and retied the bows for a better fit.
