Fabric is too thin
I have been wearing Eileen West nightgowns for decades but this will be the last one I will buy. The fabric is too thin. Eileen West's parent company -- Komar is trying to squeeze every nickel. If that's what they want to do, fine, but they have lost a customer.

Very thin, scratchy, and fragile
The nightgown looked great at first, when I pulled it out of the bag. Lovely gray color with tasteful white flowers and lacing around the shoulders, so what's not to love? Well... The fabric is so thin it's practically see through. It is cotton all right, but the feel is rough. I had to wash it before wearing it because it had a notable chemical/paint smell. It didn't shrink much (yay!) but didn't become any softer. :-0(. The verdict: way overpriced and I don't recommend.
