Love this shoe

I love Eileen Fisher shoes. They are so well made and unique. I am sad that these were too big in the heel/ankle for me. I have never had that problem because I do not have skinny ankles. It may be that I needed the strap to be tighter. The leather strap closes with Velcro and it only closes so far. The fabric part of the strap was to loose. My feet slipped up and down when I walked. If you love these shoes I think you should try them. I do have the other platform style which fit me better.

Not made for me.

After reading the other favorable reviews, I'm thinking it might be just me who had trouble with this shoe. Yes, they are very on trend and seem to be well made and probably comfortable - for someone else. But, as soon as I tried one on, and took my first step, I could not believe how uncomfortable the back piece over the heel was. It was PAINFUL to just take one step. I'm not sure where that piece would have to fall on the average foot for this not to happen. Sadly, they must go back.

Love this shoe

I love Eileen Fisher shoes. They are so well made and unique. I am sad that these were too big in the heel/ankle for me. I have never had that problem because I do not have skinny ankles. cool shoe for Grandma

Great shoes. Easy to put on. Not too high, comfortable. Very cool but age appropriate if you are a wee bit older than the cool shoes are currently designed for.. I got black and I love them. I was so happy to find a shoe that was "current" but that I could wear.!

disappointed

I saw these cute shoes on the sales associate and wanted to buy them. They didn't have my size so I ordered them. When they came I was so excited to try them on but was immediately disappointed to find out how uncomfortable they were. The strap around my heel rubbed it in an unusual way and was very painful to walk in. Sadly I returned them

love!

I vacillated between the similar Eileen Fisher styles like this, but finally decided on this particular one in the tan color, expecting to send it back. Size 7 shoe fit my size 7 foot to an absolute T (with no room to spare). Looks great on my foot and doesn't at all make my 5'2" frame look clunky and stupid. My 19 yr old daughter is eyeing them with envy. :-) Very, VERY cool sneaker-y sophisticated sandals.

good-looking shoe

I bought this shoe in Black and needed to go to a size 7.5, I regularly wear a 7. It is my first pair of EF shoes, but I am a long-time fan of EF clothing (over 25 years). I looks good on me as I have thin feet and legs and could use the added "chunk".
